6 Male Health Concerns You Shouldn’t Ignore in Asia

4 min read

Men are known to be stoic and not express their feelings easily. This is especially true when it comes to discussing anything that may be perceived as a weakness. Because of this perception, many men choose to keep things bottled up instead of seeking help. In the process, they unknowingly put their health at risk. However, we live in an age where there is an increasing number of men who are more open about their issues pertaining to their health and well-being. Men no longer feel the need to hide behind a façade when it comes to dealing with anything that may be seen as “weak” or “feminine”. It is for this reason that we have compiled a list of some male-specific concerns you should never ignore if you happen to live in Asia or plan on moving here.

The symptoms of constipation can vary from person to person. Some may experience extreme bloating, abdominal cramps and/or pain, a lack of appetite, and an overall “heavy” feeling. You may also experience a lack of energy and moodiness. Most people think that they can only get constipated due to dietary changes. However, lifestyle factors can also contribute to constipation. This includes a lack of exercise and a sedentary lifestyle. Stress and a poor attitude towards life can also play a part in causing constipation. This is especially true if you’ve been under a lot of stress lately.

Depression and Anxiety

In a lot of Asian societies, mental illness is still a sensitive topic. There is often a stigma attached to it, and many people choose to keep their condition hidden. This is unfortunate because people who suffer from depression and anxiety deserve to be treated with the same amount of respect as somebody who is physically disabled. Most people who suffer from depression don’t even realize they have a problem. They think it’s normal to feel the way they do. Others don’t want to talk about it because they feel ashamed and/or alone.

If you feel that you have been suffering from depression, you need to see a doctor. If left untreated, depression can become debilitating. It can negatively affect both your mental and physical well-being. The same can be said for anxiety. Many people with anxiety are afraid to seek help because they are embarrassed by their condition.

Depression also causes erectile dysfunction. Many people with high anxiety have to take Viagra, also known for ไวอากร้า in Thai, to boost up their performance. Especially Thai people, the demand on Viagra is quite high due to their working culture.

Prostate Issues

Prostate issues vary from person to person. Some men suffer from benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), while others experience an infection of the prostate gland. Prostate cancer is another issue that many men are diagnosed with. Prostate issues are very common among men. It is estimated that nearly 80% of men will experience some kind of prostate issue during their lifetime. Unfortunately, many of these men choose to ignore the symptoms. Unfortunately, ignoring symptoms can lead to a very serious problem. This is especially true when it comes to prostate cancer. Unfortunately, this is a very serious condition that can lead to death if left untreated. You should always see a doctor if you feel something is wrong. Prostate problems are usually accompanied by symptoms such as frequent urination, shortness of breath, and pain in the lower back.

Skin Concerns

Men who live in Asia often suffer from skin issues. This is due to the high humidity level that is common in the region. However, certain skin concerns are also genetically-linked. Unfortunately, many men fail to address skin issues. They think that it’s just a part of getting older and that there’s nothing that can be done about it. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Many men are unaware that there are a number of skin treatments and procedures available. Some of these include chemical peels, laser and IPL treatments, dermabrasion, and more. Unfortunately, many men are too embarrassed to talk about their skin issues. This can lead to problems later on in life.

Weight Gain and Obesity

This is a topic that many men find difficult to talk about. A lot of men who live in Asia have issues about their weight. This is due to a number of factors. Unfortunately, many men are unaware that they are overweight. They think that they look “normal”. Men who are overweight are at a greater risk of developing heart disease, high cholesterol, diabetes, and certain types of cancer. They also have a lower life expectancy. Many men don’t realize that they have a problem until they get slapped in the face with a serious diagnosis such as heart disease. Unfortunately, this is often too late.

While many of these issues are not unique to Asian men, they are more likely to be affected by them due to the higher population density in Asia. This can also be attributed to the fact that Asian cultures are often more reserved. Men are less likely to reach out for help when they need it. However, there is a growing movement among Asian men to break the stigma surrounding mental health issues. There is also a push to get men to take more responsibility for their health and well-being. This can only be a good thing for Asian society as a whole.
