Simple Hypnosis For Weight Loss And Eating Disorders – Fast And Permanent Results

I became interested in hypnosis, because I had a compulsive craving for sweets and unhealthy food. I struggled with this problem for years. I tried a few methods: different types of diets, changing eating habits, different nutrition type routines, powerful exercise regimes. None of these willpower based approaches worked for me permanently. I started to research about hypnosis. Saw plenty of positive feedback, so I decided to try it

Through hypnosis, I got rid of my problem permanently. It was easier than I had imagined it. I did not experience any feeling of deprivation. Gradually the routine of eating healthy, clean, food, became natural and even enjoyable! As a positive side effect, I lost few extra pounds, with no struggle, reaching the weight I was looking for.


Hypnosis is a natural state of mind, and we experience a hypnotic state, hundreds of times in everyday life. Whenever we do anything automatic, like driving on a familiar road, taking a shower, just before falling asleep at night! During a hypnosis session with a hypnotherapist, one experiences a pleasant deep relaxation, light sleepiness, while being in total control, even if extremely relaxed. The conscious mind becomes calm and drifts off, allowing the subconscious mind to become active and open to positive suggestions.Today, science has been thoroughly researching hypnosis. It is proven, that during hypnosis, powerful healing and integration occur in the brain, clearly seen through MRI, EEG (electro-encephalogram), and MEG (magneto-encephalogram). Hypnotherapy is often used within the fields of Western conventional, medicine and psychology, and professional hypnotherapists can work with nutrition doctors, Medical Doctors, Psychiatrists, for more rewarding, greater results


We have a conscious intelligence and a subconscious intelligence. The conscious mind is responsible for thinking, rationalizing, analyzing, logic. The subconscious, on the other hand, is not logic at all, is the source of your imagination, feelings and emotions. The subconscious records all our former life experiences, all our memories, all we have ever heard or seen and also how we felt and how we perceived each experience. It is the part of the mind that controls every autonomic function in the body, like heart beats, the breathing, the digestion process, the blood circulation, liver function, etc.The subconscious mind is always active in the background and runs most of our daily lives. Our subconscious intelligence, controls all of ours behaviors, attitudes and actions, It does not analyze, it does not discriminate between good or bad. Most of what we do is the product of the subconscious mind. All the ideas, information, thoughts, we have automatically stored in the subconscious mind, since childhood, form a belief system.

This set of beliefs, in turn, ends driving your thoughts, feelings and actions, producing your current behavior patterns and last, creating your present reality. When you were a child your parents, your teachers, your religious tutors, were all sources of information.You trusted them. You believed everything they said, even if it was false. At that early age you could not filter all the information you received. In fact, from the time you were born, up to when you were 7, your brain was in a constant state of light hypnosis, since the rational brain had not developed yet. If your mother would tell you: “spinach are good for you”, you believed her. And so, if your parents would tell you that you are not important, that you are not smart enough, not talented, you believed them as well. Then eventually, after hearing those false ideas over and over they were reinforced, and rooted in the subconscious, creating a false, negative programming.

This conditioning is constantly influencing people’s lives, their decisions and actions, without them being aware of it. So, even if you consciously know what to do, to make positive changes, some unconscious limiting, negative programming, is interfering with the results of your goals, sabotaging your success, and well-being. For example, on a conscious level, you have a strong wish to achieve a positive goal, or make a positive change. You start taking the right action to achieve it. Your unconscious limiting beliefs, on the other hand, may broadcast a hidden signal, which is opposite to that wish.

Your conscious intentions and your subconscious messages, in this case, are not matching, but are in conflict. Simply, they do not have the same goal! You can compare the subconscious to the hard drive in the computer, and your limiting beliefs, to the software installed in it. To play your music, you open and run Media Player installed in the hard drive. The present version of the player, keeps on freezing often, creating problems. So you decide to play your music through the latest version of Media Player, which you have not installed yet. You try, but you fail over and over. It is impossible, since you can never play your music, using a software that is missing from the hard drive. So, the older version of Media Player will continue to run your music files, over and over!!! In my case, all the steps I had previously taken, to heal my food craving, had not worked because I was trying to resolve this problem, using willpower, applying hard discipline and resistance.

These are functions of the cognitive mind, which, even if intelligent, it only has 5% of the mind’s power. The subconscious mind, on the other hand, has 95% of the power, and runs our thoughts and actions 95% of the time.Further, some limiting negative, subconscious beliefs were in conflict with my conscious wishes. My wrong conditioning would associate healthy food with suffering and deprivation, unhealthy food with pleasure and reward. So my subconscious mind would repeatedly trigger a self-protective alarm, to prevent any painful experience to occur, sabotaging the positive change, over and over.

It is not that easy to change unconscious false, limiting conditioning, replace many years of negative thinking, just by having the will to do so, or by using your willpower and your conscious mind. The subconscious is much stronger and stubborn than the conscious mind. So in the end, it always wins the battle. Scientific facts state the subconscious mind can process about 400 billion bits of information per second, while the conscious mind can process only 4 thousands a second!

Through hypnosis is possible to remove the old useless software causing your computer (your subconscious) to stall, and install a new software that will let you run the program you want. Hypnosis allows you to change your negative conditioning permanently and replace it with a true, healthy belief pattern, which is in coherence with your conscious intentions, aligning conscious wishes with unconscious healthy beliefs. It is only by reaching this alignment which allows you to be able to manifest your goals successfully. It is only through permanent positive and healthy changes in your subconscious mind, that will you succeed to achieve permanent, positive changes in your life!
