MBT Shoes and Trainers Fake Warning – How to Avoid the Fakes!

2 min read

MBT shoes and trainers are incredibly popular and good for your health. This article is a short review of these incredible shoes and also gives advice on avoiding the increasing number of fakes being sold.

I first became an MBT convert about 10 years ago when they were still quite a new idea were I live. Since then I’ve also tried other “similar” shoes such as Sketchers and Chung Shi but nothing compares to my MBT trainers.

Negative Heel Technology

The shoes are designed to mimic walking on sand. When you think about it, shoe wearing is a very new idea in evolutionary terms. Only a few thousand years ago everyone was walking around barefoot. And there is a natural movement in our feet, ankles and whole body as we walk. That’s where Masai Barefoot Technology comes to the rescue.

Modern Shoes Murder Your Feet

Unfortunately high fashion is where the problems start. Shoes come in all shapes and sizes and what we do to our feet is really criminal. No other part of our body is expected to talk so much suffering, being forced into the latest designer high heels. Ladies what are we doing to ourselves?

How to Wear MBT shoes

When you first start using them just wear them for a short periods to get used to them, they really get different muscles working than you are used to. After a while I found I could wear mine all day. If fact whenever I go back to “normal” shoes they feel really strange.

Kinder on your feet

Another benefit I’ve found is that MBTs are kinder on my feet. I went with a friend for a long coastal walk recently and after 15 miles my friend’s feet, she was wearing ordinary walking shoes, were covered in blisters but mine were not and I could have walked another 15 miles.
