Dept. of Education investigating Liberty University over Title IX, sexual misconduct cases
LYNCHBURG, Va. – Federal brokers with the Division of Training were being on Liberty University’s campus this week, investigating any mishandling of title nine scenarios or studies of sexual misconduct, according to ProPublica.
At minimum 23 persons have submitted lawsuits in opposition to the Christian university, which include a person previous student who suggests the university failed to take a look at rape allegations.
Sen. Tim Kaine has previously called for a federal assessment.
