Judge Dismisses Portion of Cases in Title IX Lawsuit Involving University of Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A federal decide dismissed the statements of 7 women who alleged the College of Nebraska-Lincoln didn’t adequately reply to their issues of being sexually assaulted or harassed, which include four women who explained they have been victims of Cornhuskers athletes.

A former Nebraska volleyball player and eight other girls alleged a pattern of unresponsiveness, sloppiness and indifference by university staff members in charge of investigating allegations of sexual misconduct.
